dreaming of genetics

I think that I may have been thinking about genetics way too much lately. Last night I had a dream about different people who I was diagnosing with different mitochondrial disorders. Its probably because I just had a midterm today (I know, November 9th is no where near 'midterm' but hey, California's different) in Human Genetics. Due to the post-midterm status of this exam there was a lot of information to know and therefore required a lot of studying, and thus a lot of genetics on the mind. Luckily I have Jesse, someone who loves hearing about the 12 different diseases associated with structural mutations in hemoglobin, with a detailed description of the exact gene mutation and resulting phenotype, as he is falling asleep at night. I've included a picture of a hemoglobin molecule for added effect.
